What HoseSeek is
HoseSeek is a reference site for people who replace and build hydraulic hoses on heavy equipment. It answers the question a technician has when a hose fails: which hose is this, how long is it, and what is on each end.
What you will find here
- Hose records by machine. Search by brand, model or part number to see the hose position, length, hose specification and end fittings.
- Workshop tools. A thread identifier, fitting code decoder, unit and dash-size converter, assembly length calculator and cutting optimizers. All free.
- Learning material. Hose basics, fitting identification and the hose assembly process, written for people new to the trade.
- Machine manuals. Parts and service manuals stored on this site.
Where the data comes from
Hose records are transcribed from manufacturer parts manuals, hose lists and workshop records. Each record page shows what was recorded for that hose. Records are reference information: confirm length, fittings and pressure rating on the machine before making a hose.
How the site is paid for
Search, machine pages, tools and learning material are free. The full details of three hose records can be viewed free each month. Unlimited record views are available with a one-time access plan. The site may also show advertising.
